The soto™ Story

Welcome to Soto™  Building Services (SBS), a family-run janitorial company with deep roots  and a commitment to excellence in the cleaning industry. Our story is  one of hard work, passion, and family. It all began in 2000 when my  father first got involved in the janitorial business. By 2004, he  founded his own company, driven by a vision to provide top-notch  cleaning solutions.

I still remember those  early days when weekends meant joining my dad on the job, helping  wherever my brother and I could, and learning the ropes of the business.  My younger brother Zachary and I grew up learning the trade from  him—watching, helping, and eventually developing a deep passion for the  industry ourselves.

As we grew older, our  paths led us to different fields. I earned a bachelor's degree in  communications from Arizona State University, while Zachary pursued  electrical engineering at Sonoma State University in California. Despite  our different academic journeys, we both found our way back to the  industry that had shaped us growing up.

With my business  knowledge and Zachary’s technical expertise, we decided to combine our  skills and launch SBS. Though our dad isn't directly involved in the  day-to-day operations, his years of experience and guidance have been  the backbone of our success. 

He continues to be a source of support,  always ready with advice when we need it.
